Tomorrow is another day. ☀️ My Nana and Grandpa stopped in Baltimore on their way to Florida almost 10 Februaries ago and had dinner with us before taking the train south. They usually got a house sitter when heading down to the timeshare, but that year had winterized the house, and they brought me their plants. This one is still alive. It doesn’t bloom often, and it’s kind of leggy, but today, it has flowers and that makes me smile a bit after a pretty rotten afternoon. #christmascactus #stillkicking
I don’t know that he’s much help around here, but here’s our little old man for #farmpupfriday Meet Stubby the schnauzer! Stubs will be 14 in June, and we’ve started planning a birthday party for him. J and I adopted him from a Maryland shelter in 2008 when he was 3. He’d already been returned to the shelter three times, and we were pretty much his last chance. He smelled bad, had a skin condition and a bad attitude, and liked to run away. I have chased this dog more times than I can count. Somewhere along the way he mellowed out, and I couldn’t imagine a better dog. His eyes are getting cloudy and he can barely hear - and I am dreading the day we say goodbye. #schnauzersofinstagram #stubbydog
